Being first to apologize after a team blowup isn’t losing. It’s unlocking the room.

After an argument everybody waits, because moving first feels like conceding the whole dispute. The wait can run for weeks while the work gets worse. Going first does not settle who was right. It ends the standoff and lets the group talk again, and it is usually the cheapest useful thing anybody does all week.
If your group is frozen after a row, say your part of it out loud with no but attached. Keep it short and specific, and ask for nothing back. Then get on with the next ordinary task together.
Which stalemate would end if you apologized first?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
