LEADERSHIP
LEADERSHIP
The name suggests command, but nothing in a hive runs on instructions from the top. Thousands of workers make small judgements about where to go and what needs doing, and from outside the result looks organised. A lot of what gets called leadership works like that: not a stream of orders, but conditions that let many people make decent small calls. The structure does the work.
Look at a group you are part of and ask what people still have to request permission for. If it is small and obvious, say once that they can handle it themselves. Then let them handle it differently from how you would.
