Your bedroom is a museum of who you were. Clean it out once in a while and see who you are now.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Rooms fill up with decisions made by earlier versions of you. The posters, the kept tickets, the gear for a hobby you dropped two years ago: all of it was chosen by somebody you have partly stopped being, and it keeps quietly telling you who you are. Sorting through it is less about tidiness than about noticing how much has changed while the shelves stayed the same.

Take one shelf or one drawer this weekend and handle every item. Keep what still means something, pass on what belonged to the old version. Leave some empty space, since whoever you are becoming will need somewhere to put things.
