Meteors are specks of dust that streak across the sky for a second. Small can still be unforgettable.

Duration and impact are not related the way you would expect. A second of light from something the size of a grain gets remembered for years, while plenty of long and important-looking things leave nothing behind. Brief does not mean minor, which is worth knowing about moments and about people who were only around for a short time.

Think of one small thing somebody did for you that you still remember. Do something that size for somebody this week, and do not assume it is too slight to land.
