Make important things easier to understand than excuses for avoiding them.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Whatever is easiest to understand tends to be what gets acted on. If the reason for avoiding something is simple and the thing itself is complicated, avoidance wins by default, and no amount of importance changes that. Making the important thing legible, small, and obvious is how you compete with the easy excuse. Clarity is a way of tipping the balance.
Take something you keep postponing and reduce it to a single obvious next step. Write that step down where you will see it. The clarity of the step matters more than your resolve about the goal.
