Switching how you talk all day can be exhausting. Find at least one place where you don’t have to translate yourself.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Running one voice for teachers, another for family and a third for the group chat takes real energy, even when you are good at it. Every switch needs monitoring, and monitoring all day is why you can be worn out without having done anything heavy. The tiredness is not weakness; it is the cost of the work.

Identify the one place where you already drop it: a cousin, a friend from your old neighbourhood, a teammate, a grandparent’s kitchen. Protect it, and go there on purpose this week rather than only by accident. One unguarded hour pays for a lot of the other twelve.
