An orderly life still needs room for spontaneity.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
A life organized down to the last hour has no capacity for the unplanned dinner, the detour, the conversation that runs long. Those are frequently the parts people remember, and a schedule with no slack quietly excludes them. Order is meant to make room for living rather than to fill it completely. Efficiency taken far enough becomes a kind of poverty.
Leave some part of your week deliberately unassigned. Not for rest specifically, just unallocated. Then let something unplanned occupy it when it arrives.
When did you last do something that was not on your plan?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
