An echo always gets the last word and never says anything new.

An echo is impressive and empty. It comes back loud, it always gets the final word, and it has never once contributed an idea, because repeating is not the same as thinking. Some people operate this way, and so do group chats, and so does your own head at two in the morning. Volume and lastness feel like authority and neither one is evidence of anything.
When a thought keeps returning in exactly the same words this week, treat that as an echo rather than a message. Write it down once, then go and ask somebody who will say something new.
Who do you argue with who only repeats themselves?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
