Concrete takes weeks to reach full strength. Things that hold weight are rarely ready the same day.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Looking finished and being strong happen at different times. Something can be solid enough to walk on long before it can carry what it was built for, and loading it in between is how it cracks in a way nobody can undo. The curing period is invisible work, and skipping it is invisible damage.

Work out what in your life is still curing: a healing injury, a new routine, a friendship you have just patched up. Resist testing it at full weight for a while. Give it a specific number of weeks before asking it to hold anything heavy.
