Not everything happening is your problem. Some of it is just weather on someone else’s street.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
A great deal of what reaches you in a day is not yours to carry: an argument between two others, a crisis in a group chat, something unfair happening to someone who has not asked you for anything. Feeling it is human. Taking it on as a task leaves you tired and no use to what actually is yours. Caring and being responsible come apart.
Sort the next few worries into yours and not yours, honestly. For the ones that are not, decide whether you are being asked for something or just being told. Offer help where it is wanted and let the rest be somebody else’s street.
