Once you decide someone is annoying, even their “good morning” sounds annoying. Check your filter.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
A verdict on a person turns into a lens, and after that everything they do arrives pre-interpreted. Neutral behaviour reads as smug, kindness reads as fake, and you gather evidence without noticing you are only collecting one kind. The feeling of being obviously right is exactly what the filter produces, which is why it is so hard to spot from inside.
Run a check this week on whoever irritates you most. Ask what they would have had to do for you to read it well, then watch for a day as if you had not decided. You may land in the same place, and at least it will be yours.
Whose greeting sounds wrong to you only because of your filter?
