Some of your opinions are hand-me-downs. Try them on again and see if they still fit.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Part of what you believe arrived with the furniture. Views about money, about religion, about what counts as a good job or a wasted year get absorbed from whoever raised you long before you could test them, and some fit perfectly well. The trouble is only ever the ones you have never examined, because an untested belief cannot be defended, only repeated.
Pick one you have never questioned and spend twenty minutes on the other side. Read somebody who disagrees, properly rather than to score points. Then decide: keep it, adjust it, or let it go. Keeping it after the test makes it yours for the first time.
