Figure out your natural pace. Some people sprint and rest, some people grind slow. Stop copying someone else’s speed.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Advice about working hard almost always assumes one rhythm, usually a steady daily one. Plenty of people do not run that way. Some do everything in two enormous bursts and then need a flat week, and trying to be steady leaves them with nothing. The pattern is not the problem, the mismatch is.
Look back at the two or three things you have done best and ask how the hours were actually arranged. Then plan the next one that way on purpose, including the recovery, which is part of the pattern rather than a failure. Borrowed schedules break for reasons unrelated to discipline.
Do you work best in bursts or at a steady crawl?
