Don’t let the last bad result rewrite the whole plan. One loss is data, not a verdict.

A single bad outcome arrives with more emotional weight than it has information, so it feels like a conclusion about everything. It is one sample. The plan you made was based on how things usually go, and one game, one grade, one shift does not tell you how things usually go. Throwing it out is how you end up starting over every few weeks.
After the next bad result, give yourself a day before changing anything structural. Then ask whether this has now happened three times or once. Fix what the evidence supports and leave the rest of the plan alone.
