There are people who will never say the sentence and will spend an hour on your bike. If you only count the spoken version, you will miss most of what is being offered to you, particularly from parents, grandparents and anybody raised not to discuss it. The fixing is the sentence. It is just in a form that requires you to be paying attention to notice.
Look at who does small practical things for you without an announcement. Say thank you for the specific act rather than in general. And consider that it might be your own dialect, in which case somebody may be missing it.
Who shows you care by fixing things rather than saying so?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
