Faith is strongest when there is enough darkness to make trust necessary.

Trust only shows itself when the outcome is not visible. In good light, confidence is just perception, and you never find out whether you had faith or simply had information. The dark stretches are the only ones where the question is genuinely asked, which is why they feel like both a test and a deepening.

In an uncertain period, notice what you keep doing anyway. The commitments you honor without proof are what faith actually consists of. They are also what you will look back on later as the substance of it.
