The right to be heard loses substance when every available appointment overlaps your shift.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
A right you cannot physically reach is not much of a right. Hearings held during working hours, offices open only when you must be somewhere else, appointments scheduled at the convenience of the body making the decision. The entitlement remains formally intact while becoming unusable for exactly the people most likely to need it. Nothing has been denied, and nothing is available either.
If you are stuck in that shape, ask directly for an alternative time or a written submission before assuming there is none. If you set the schedule, count how many people never appear rather than how many attend. Access is measured by who arrives, not by what the rules permit.
What have you missed out on because of when it was scheduled?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
