Your dream is not automatically worthy because it is large.

Scale is not the same as worth. A large ambition can be entirely hollow, chosen because it impresses rather than because it means anything to you, and its size will make it harder to abandon later. Meanwhile smaller things that genuinely matter get treated as unserious.

Ask why you chose your current goal and whether the answer involves anyone else’s estimation. Then ask what you would pursue if nobody were going to hear about it. The difference between those two answers is worth sitting with.
