The best answer to doubt is absorption in something real, because the absorption is what makes the doubters genuinely stop mattering rather than just being outranked. If you are still keeping score, they are still in the room and still setting your terms.

Check whether your motivation includes an audience of people you want to prove wrong. That fuel burns fast and leaves you strangely unsatisfied at the finish. Find a reason to build that would hold if they had never said anything.
