Sometimes maturity is realizing the argument is not worth renting space in your mind.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Some arguments cost more to win than the win is worth, and the cost is measured in the hours afterwards spent rehearsing it. Maturity here is not passivity. It is the calculation that being right in this particular exchange is not worth what it will occupy in you for the next three days.
Before engaging, ask what winning gets you and what the rehearsal afterwards will cost. If the second is larger, let it go. You can be right without saying so.
