The mistake matters less when the next play receives everyone’s attention.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

A mistake stops growing the moment everyone’s eyes move forward. When a group keeps circling an error, it becomes an event: the person who made it starts playing carefully, teammates begin managing them, and everyone is busy with something that already happened. Attention is what feeds it. Turning to the next play is not denial, it simply refuses to give one moment more weight than it earned.

Say the next instruction instead of the last verdict. Keep any review for later, when it can be useful rather than punishing. If someone is still stuck on it afterwards, tell them plainly that it is finished.
