A difficult day can be carried with help before it can be explained with perspective.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Understanding arrives late. In the middle of a bad day, explanations of why it will matter less later are both true and useless, because what is being felt is weight rather than confusion. Company and practical hands help first, and the meaning can come whenever it comes, if it comes at all.

If someone near you is having a hard time, offer something you can actually do: a meal, a lift, an hour of sitting there. Hold the perspective back unless they ask for it. And if the difficult day is yours, the wanting to understand it can wait a while.
