Choose carefully what you repeat; repetition eventually stops feeling like a choice.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Repetition converts decisions into defaults. The first time you do something it is a choice, the twentieth time it is your character, and by then the deciding part has gone quiet and the behaviour runs on its own. This is a good arrangement when what you repeated was worth repeating, and a difficult one otherwise.
Audit what you are actually repeating rather than what you intend to. Look at the last week and find the loops. Choose one you want running in five years and protect it. Choose one you do not and interrupt it now, while it is still something you do rather than something you are.
Which repeated action of yours no longer feels optional?
