Some things fail because they were rushed, not because they were wrong.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Rushing kills good things and then the failure gets blamed on the thing itself. The idea was sound, the relationship had substance, the plan was viable, and it broke because it was asked to bear weight before it was ready. Concluding that it was never right is the easier story, and often the wrong one.

After something falls apart, ask about the pace before you rule on the substance. Was there a version of it that had more time? If so, the lesson is about timing, not judgment, and it is worth keeping the underlying belief while changing the speed you bring to it.
