Not everything slow is stuck.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Slow and stuck feel identical from the inside, which is why so much good work gets abandoned in the middle. Real progress often has long stretches with no visible movement, and impatience reads that flatness as failure. Speed is a comfortable signal, not an accurate one.

When you suspect something has stalled, look for evidence rather than trusting the feeling. Has anything changed in three months, even quietly? Is the process still running or has it actually stopped? Distinguishing the two saves you from quitting things that were working and from waiting on things that were not.
