You do not have to harvest every result the same day you plant effort.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
The expectation of same-day returns quietly poisons good work. Effort put into health, craft, relationships, or learning pays on a delay you did not set and cannot shorten, and measuring it daily produces a false verdict of failure at exactly the point where persistence matters most.
Match your measurement to the thing’s actual timescale. For anything slow, check quarterly rather than daily, and in between, track only whether you did the work. That way the input stays under your control and the results are allowed to arrive when they arrive, rather than being asked to justify themselves each evening.
What effort of yours needs more time before you judge it?
