The impatient person mistakes movement for improvement.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Motion is easy to feel and easy to mistake for advancement. Busy days, many messages, constant activity: all of it registers as productivity while the actual thing that matters stays untouched. Impatience prefers movement because movement relieves the discomfort of stillness, whether or not it goes anywhere.
At the end of a busy day, ask what actually changed. Not what you did, what moved. If the honest answer is nothing, the problem is not effort but direction. Choose one thing tomorrow that would count as real progress and do that first, before the day fills up with motion.
