Some outcomes mature only after your desire for them stops controlling you.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Wanting something too much distorts how you pursue it. The need makes you push, accept poor terms, misread signals, and generally behave in ways that repel the thing itself. Often what has to mature is not the outcome but your grip on it, and once the grip loosens the situation stops being deformed by it.
Notice where your wanting is currently doing the driving. Ask what you would do differently if you were willing to not get it. That answer is usually calmer and more effective, and acting from it tends to improve your odds as a side effect rather than as a trick.
