The people who knew your work can help you remember that its value did not end with your last shift.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

When a role ends, the daily proof of being useful ends alongside it, and the value can feel as though it went out the door with the badge. It did not. The people who worked next to you hold a record of what you actually did: the problem you caught early, the newcomer you steadied, the way a bad week was handled. That record lives in them whether or not anyone thinks to mention it.

If the ending is recent, let one or two of those people stay in your week. A conversation with someone who saw the work is not nostalgia. It is accurate information about yourself.
