A brave life is not a reckless one; it is one that refuses to worship certainty.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Bravery is not indifference to risk; it is refusal to treat certainty as a requirement. The reckless person ignores the odds, while the brave one looks at them and proceeds anyway when the thing matters enough. What they share is a willingness to move without a guarantee, which is the part the cautious life will not do.
Check which of the three you are being in a given decision. Have you looked at the risk honestly, and are you declining to act because it is genuinely too high or because it is not zero. Only the second is worth changing, and noticing the difference is most of the work.
