Courage is not believing nothing will go wrong; it is knowing wrong is survivable.

RESILIENCE
The belief underneath courage is not that things will go well but that you will still be standing if they do not. Survivability, not success, is what makes action possible, and that is a much lower bar than the one most hesitation is set against.
When weighing something frightening, ask not whether it will work but whether you could recover from it failing. Look at what you have already come through as evidence. If the answer is yes, the decision changes character entirely: it becomes a question of whether it is worth trying rather than whether you can afford to be wrong.
