Good character often looks boring because drama benefits from inconsistency.

LEADERSHIP
Consistency does not make for a good story. Nothing dramatic happens when someone reliably does what they said, keeps their commitments, and behaves the same in every room, and so good character often reads as unremarkable. Drama requires the gaps between what people claim and do, which is precisely what integrity removes.
If your life feels uneventful in this respect, consider that it may be functioning rather than lacking. And when you find yourself drawn to someone or something exciting, check whether the excitement comes from real vitality or from inconsistency you have not named yet.
