The water holds people equally while their comfort inside it can differ completely.

The same conditions do not produce the same experience. Water lifts everybody alike, and what varies is history: who was taught young, who nearly drowned once, who is comfortable being seen in a swimsuit, who trusts their body to do what is asked of it. Identical circumstances land very differently depending on what somebody brings. Equal conditions are not equal ease.
When a shared setting seems fine to you, assume it is not fine for everybody. Ask what would make it easier rather than what is wrong with it. Adjust the small things within your control.
Where do you feel uneasy in a place others find easy?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
