A clean windscreen improves the view without changing the road ahead.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Seeing clearly and having an easier situation are two different improvements. Cleaning the glass genuinely helps: you can read the signs, judge the distance, spot what is coming. It does not remove a single bend or make the journey shorter. Plenty of effort goes into clarity as though clarity itself were the solution, and then the actual difficulty is still there, only now in sharper focus.
By all means get a clear view first, since decisions made in the fog are usually worse. Then be honest about what remains, and put the next hour into the road rather than into the glass.
What have you clarified lately without changing anything actually difficult?
