An ordinary shopping list can contain care for people who will never enter the shop.

A list of groceries is often a list of people. The bread somebody can chew, the biscuits a grandchild likes, the exact brand a parent has bought for forty years, the extra tin for the food bank: none of that is visible at the till, and all of it is a form of attention. Care tends to look like logistics from outside. Somebody thought about a body and a preference that were not their own.
Look at your next list and see whose needs are already in it. Consider adding one line for a person who has no idea you are shopping.
Whose preferences appear on your shopping list without being discussed?
