Being alone occasionally reminds you which problems were actually yours.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Around other people, their concerns become partly yours. Their stress, their urgency, their problems occupy your attention, and after long enough it becomes difficult to tell which of the weights you are carrying were actually assigned to you. Distance sorts them quickly.

After some time alone, notice which worries came with you and which stayed behind. The ones that faded were probably not yours to solve. Put your effort into the ones that persisted, and consider whether you have quietly taken on responsibility for something that belongs to somebody else.
