The person moving scenery is part of the story’s ability to continue.

Stories on stage only move because someone unseen changes what is behind them. That work does not appear in the telling, yet without it the next scene cannot begin. Most things you enjoy have a version of this: the person restocking, the person scheduling, the person carrying. Calling such work support understates it, since the thing being supported would simply stop.

Pick one thing that went smoothly for you recently and trace it back to whoever made the smoothness possible. If you can, tell them what you traced. Naming a specific contribution lands better than general thanks.
