A strong position still needs someone willing to make an ordinary accurate move.

Advantage does not convert itself. A good position, in a game or a project or a life, still has to be turned into a result by someone doing the plain next thing correctly, and plenty of strong situations are lost by people waiting for a move worthy of the position. Brilliance is not usually required at that stage. Accuracy is, repeatedly, in circumstances where it feels like an anticlimax.

Wherever you are currently well placed, identify the ordinary next action and do it today. The temptation to wait for something more impressive is the main way good positions get wasted.
