A household routine is more reliable when it fits tired people as well as rested ones.

RESILIENCE
A system that only works when everyone is in good form is not a system. Real households have illness, late nights, bad weeks, and small children, and the routine has to survive all of that or it quietly collapses and takes some goodwill with it. Designing for the rested version of yourself is the most common reason plans fail at home.
Look at one arrangement you keep restarting and cut it down until a tired person could do it. Fewer steps, lower standard, same place every time. A smaller routine that survives beats a good one that stops.
