You can’t build an extraordinary life while constantly asking permission from an ordinary mindset.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
An ordinary mindset is not stupid or weak. It is the accumulated caution of everyone who raised you, taught you, and warned you, and its whole function is to keep you inside the range it already knows how to survive. The trouble begins when you treat that caution as an authority you must satisfy before you are allowed to move. You end up submitting every ambition for approval to a committee that was never designed to say yes.
Notice who or what you are checking with before you allow yourself to attempt something. Often it is not a person but an inherited standard sitting in your head. Try making one decision this week without running it past that standard first, and see whether the sky behaves as predicted.
Which small idea of yourself keeps vetoing your larger plans?
