A note tucked into a lunch can travel farther into the day than its writer does.

GRATITUDE
A written line keeps working long after the person who wrote it has gone to work. Whoever packed it is elsewhere by lunchtime, and the note arrives in a canteen or a classroom, carrying their attention into a room they will never enter. A few words cover a lot of distance.
Write one this week, for a child, a partner or a flatmate, and keep it ordinary rather than momentous. A line about the day is plenty. What is really being delivered is the fact that somebody was thinking about them at eight in the morning.
What small message of yours might outlast the morning it was written?
