The person filling the water jug has noticed a need before it becomes a request.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

Some care happens one step ahead of the asking. Noticing that the jug is low and refilling it means nobody has to interrupt themselves, work out who to ask, or feel they are making a fuss over water. Anticipation removes a small social cost as well as a practical one, and it is easy to overlook because it prevents the visible problem.

Look around a room you share and find one thing that will be needed shortly. Do it before anybody mentions it. And when someone does this for you, name it, since work that stops requests happening is almost never noticed.
