Leadership is creating clarity when uncertainty makes everyone louder.

LEADERSHIP
Uncertainty makes groups noisy because everyone starts filling the gap with their own interpretation. The leader’s job at that point is not confidence but clarity, saying what is known, what is not, and what happens next. Clarity is possible even when the answer is not.
When things are unclear, resist waiting until you have the full picture. Say what you actually know and name the open questions explicitly. Structure reduces anxiety more effectively than reassurance does.
Where could you offer one clear next step to an anxious group?
