RESILIENCE
Opposition tends to arrive when you have taken a position that costs somebody something. A life that has produced no opponents at all may simply be a life that never said anything definite, or never mattered enough to be argued with. That is not a reason to go looking for conflict, but it is a reason to be suspicious of universal approval.
Notice whether anyone has disagreed with you lately about something that matters. If the answer is nobody, look at where you have been hedging. Say one thing this week that you would be willing to defend if challenged.
What would you defend even if it cost you someone’s goodwill?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
