I have everything, yet have nothing; and although I possess nothing, still of nothing am I in want.

— Terence

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Enough is a state of mind before it is an amount. Someone can hold a great deal and live with a permanent sense of shortfall, while another person with very little is genuinely not short of anything, because the wanting has been settled somewhere other than the balance. The arithmetic and the feeling turn out to be only loosely connected.

Write down what you currently feel the lack of, and then mark which items are needs and which are comparisons. The needs deserve a plan. The comparisons will not be answered by acquiring the thing, since the same feeling reappeared last time and attached itself to something new within a month.
