What hurt you may have changed your walk without deserving control of your direction.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
An injury changes how you move, sometimes permanently, and pretending otherwise is not strength. What is worth defending is the difference between an altered gait and an altered destination. The thing that hurt you can leave a lasting mark on how you go without also deciding where you end up. That choice remains yours even when the mark does not.
List what has genuinely changed about how you operate since the difficult thing. Accept the ones that are simply now true about you. Then check separately whether your direction is still yours or whether it was quietly rewritten by an event you did not choose.
