You never know your foundation until something tries to shake the building.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Stability is invisible while nothing is testing it. You cannot tell which relationships are real, which beliefs you actually hold, or how much steadiness you have until something pushes hard enough for the answer to matter. That is why hard periods are so disorienting and so informative at the same time. You learn the structure of your life by watching what holds.
After something shakes you, take note of what held and what did not, without turning it into a judgement about anyone. Then strengthen the parts you now know are load-bearing. Knowing where your foundation actually is worth more than assuming it is everywhere.
What held firm in you the last time everything shook?
