When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.

REFLECTION
Much of what makes life feel poor is a running comparison with whatever is missing. When that tally stops, even briefly, ordinary things like light on a street or a good conversation stop being reminders of shortage and become simply available. Belonging in that sense has nothing to do with property.
None of this applies to real need; lacking the rent is not a trick of perception. It applies to the wanting that carries on after needs are met. In some quiet moment this week, set aside the list of what you do not have and notice what is already in front of you.
What do you already have that you keep treating as insufficient?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
