Don’t waste suffering by refusing the wisdom it already charged you for.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
There is a version of getting through hard things where you refuse to look at any of it, on the grounds that examining it would mean the pain mattered. Understandable, and it means you paid the price without collecting anything. The wisdom does not soften what happened or make it worth it. It just already belongs to you.
When you have enough distance, ask what you learned about what you need, what you will not accept, and who you can count on. Do this only when you are steady enough, and with support if it is a hard subject. There is no obligation to find meaning, and there is also no reason to leave it behind if it is there.
What lesson from a painful time have you still not accepted?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
