Push where resistance means progress is physically happening.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Resistance is often evidence rather than obstruction. When lifting something heavy, the resistance is exactly what produces the change, and the same is true of a difficult conversation, an unfamiliar skill, or a piece of work that keeps refusing to come out right. Where things are entirely smooth, very little is usually happening to you.

Look at where you have been avoiding difficulty and ask whether the difficulty is the point. Not all resistance is productive and some things simply need a different approach. But if you have been choosing tasks by ease lately, that is worth correcting deliberately.
